Express STD Putty Regular Set by 3M ESPE is a high-viscosity vinyl polysiloxane impression material engineered for accurate, reliable full-arch and quadrant tray impressions. The hand-mix base and catalyst jar system delivers consistent, homogeneous putty with excellent detail reproduction across a broad range of dental impression indications. The regular set timing provides 1 minute of working time and a full set at 5 minutes from the start of mix, supporting a comfortable and predictable impression workflow. Each pack includes one 305 mL base jar and one 305 mL catalyst jar.
Key Features:
- Putty Viscosity: The high-viscosity formulation provides excellent tray loading, body support, and resistance to slumping during impression taking, maintaining consistent material distribution and supporting thorough arch coverage within the tray throughout the setting phase.
- Regular Set Timing: The 1-minute working time and 5-minute total setting time from the start of mix provide a comfortable, predictable workflow for tray loading and full-arch impression taking without rushing material placement or patient positioning.
- Vinyl Polysiloxane Chemistry: Addition-cured VPS material provides exceptional dimensional stability, minimal polymerization shrinkage, and accurate detail reproduction, ensuring reliable impression accuracy from initial set through die model fabrication and prosthetic construction.
- Two-Jar Hand-Mix System: The 305 mL base and catalyst jar format supports consistent hand-spatulation with a clear color-change indicator confirming complete mixing, delivering homogeneous putty and reliable setting performance across each impression procedure.
- Excellent Detail Reproduction: Engineered for precise capture of preparation margins, soft tissue contours, and anatomical detail, supporting accurate die models and well-fitting indirect restorations across crown, bridge, and implant impression applications.
